Some Cable Tangle?

Last week I bought a more professional cable for my sweet little guitar (Cordial with Neutrik jacks for the geeks) and it was totally worth the money: The sound is as different as day and night compared to my old average (not bad) no-name cable. Still can’t believe it. I was totally freaking out when I first tried it last Saturday. I was wondering if I had changed the amp settings last night because I couldn’t believe my ears. I mean, it’s JUST A CABLE. However, it seems to be quite a factor! Before I didn’t like to play my guitar with only the neck pickup, because it sounded a little bit too “mumbling”. Whatever I tried, I couldn’t befriend with my toggle up. Since last weekend it’s a mere joy to hear the clear, differentiated rhythm sound of my guitar.

Letzte Woche habe ich ein bisschen professionelleres Gitarrenkabel für meine süße kleine Gitarre gekauft (Cordial mit Neutrik-Steckern – für die Freaks) und es war absolut das Geld wert: Das ist ein Klangunterschied von Tag und Nacht im Vergleich zu meinem vorherigen, durchschnittlichen (nicht schlechten!) No-name-Kabel. Kann’s immer noch nicht fassen. Ich bin urst ausgeflippt, als ich es letzten Sonnabend zum ersten Mal ausprobiert habe. Hab mich gefragt, ob ich vielleicht am Vorabend an den Einstellungen am Verstärker was geändert hatte, weil ich einfach meinen Ohren nicht traute. Ich meine, es war NUR EIN KABEL. Aber anscheinend ist sowas enorm wichtig. Zuvor mochte ich nie so richtig meine Gitarre mit nur dem Hals-Pickup spielen, weil das immer ein wenig zu mulmig klang. Egal, was ich auch versuchte, ich konnte mich nie so richtig mit dem Kippschalter oben anfreunden. Seit letzter Woche jedoch ist das ‘ne wahre Freude den klaren, differenzierten Rhythmus-Sound meiner Gitarre zu hören.
