It just happened to be in a confused and over-thought marketing meeting that we remembered the most powerful tool for selling music… MUSIC. What better way to expose music than by allowing people the freedom to listen. As we pondered this extremely elementary concept, we agreed to develop MyFreeMusicFriday.com, a program that is so simple that it is explained in its name. Personal. Free. Music. Friday… It is really hard for anyone not to like it.

That’s how they describe themselves. Meaning, they ask  Christian artists if they would like to  have them giving away one track (mostly of a newly released record) as mp3 for free download on one Friday to all their subscribers. Of course, you’ll find a link where you can buy or iTune-buy  the whole album, but that’s what they are aiming at and it’s alright as long as they’re not burying you underneath heaps of spam. Download and listen to a song. If you like it, buy the rest.
