Great Historical Day – Großer Historischer Tag
Antje: Hm, also ‘ne Honeyburst könnten Sie bestellen.
Do I have to comment on that? Then, 13 years ago, when a flute for 13 Deutschmark was enough for me and for the first time I did c, d, e, f, g… Never mind! Times are changing. Praise God, I’m civilized now and consequently depending on electricity. For the freaks: It’s a brand new Epiphone Les Paul Standard and a 2nd-hand Marshall MG100 DFX. Yes, my church is different. They’ll understand that *grin*. And the church is growing, you know… By the way I purchased it in Dessau. Great Shop, if you think about buying a guitar, and very, very friendly.
Antje: Hm, so you could get a Honeyburst…
Seller (sort of long-haired and black-clothed type): Yeah sure, we would do that, but if you take this one I’ll give you some strings and a strap for free…
Antje: But Sunburst, that means you can’t wear pink clothes… *laugh* That’s relevant!
Seller: Oh yes, this has always been my problem, too: I can’t wear pink clothes whenever I play the red guitar…
I like it when sellers have a flexible kind of humor
There’s only one problem left: Either I start going to the fitness-center or find a strong guy that loves to carry my super-heavy amp for me. I will not go to the fitness-thing…

antje, i have to tell you…..
did you know i’m visiting dortmund in the weekend of pentecost? yes it’s true!! there is this youth conference that walter heidenreich is organizing: it’s called stream07.
have you heard about it? they have 24/7 worship and prayer and things like that…
so excited about that man! are you coming or is it really far??
i think we have to drive for 3 hrs from the netherlands, something like that..
and then take my sleeping back and air mattress so i can sleep for 7euro a night. haha.
oh, how cool if you could be there!
my last comment was a quick one so i didn’t even read your post and now i’m back so i read your post
and will comment actually ON your post!
would you believe it if i say that my electric guitar is exact the same color as this one? sunburst? with the exact same marshall amplifier (only 15w)? really, i’m in my room looking at my amplifier and my electric guitar, they look pretty much the same! cool!
I didn’t hear about it! How can that be?!?! Some news just don’t make their way to my ears. Can’t believe it! I’m the one always telling everyone around me about the events that are going on, but now I have to admit I failed in being over-informed about everything… Haha. Well, thanks for pulling me out of the valley of the clueless ones
I checked out their website and I checked the route – it’s circa 4 hours by car or by train… Well, I don’t know yet, if I can come because it’s a bit last-minute…
Concerning guitars… I didn’t know you’re into the electric stuff as well. Yippie! So I can ask you all my raw-beginners-questions while I’m exploring the electric world of music… why does this knob do that…and what is that switch actually for… and how can I stop this noise…
And for all readers who don’t know so much about guitars. I’m sorry for being a bit unclear (I got comments via telephone…)
This, my new guitar’s colour is called, “cherry sunburst”. So that means, the seller won and I decided to never wear pink on stage again…
Dedümdedümdüm… dededümmmmmm…
Dedümdedümdüm… dededümmmmmm…
Dedettdedümmmmdüdüdümmmmmmm…
thanks ch.sunburst! my sister won´t look like other sisters again…
hey if you decide to visit…just give me a shout okay? how come you didn’t know…shame on you!
i mean…someone from die niederlanden has to tell you some cool german speaking man called heidenreich is organizing this really cool event? hmm…
and yes, im all into the electric guitar…i’m learning how to play solo’s and scales etc. it’s really cool. sometimes i do love the western guitar more..but anyhow.. it’s all good!
@ ruth:
“hey if you decide to visit…just give me a shout okay?”… OF COURSE!
you’re an e-guitar gal, nananananaaaaaanaaa!!! I just started to try to find some stuff about scales and solos… and my fingers find that quite a challenging job to work all that out on strings and not on piano or flute keys! But now there’s no turning around I stepped over the line of just being a passive e-guitar lover.. to becoming active. AAAAaaahh. Now, tell me, do you take lessons or do you know some GOOD materials?
@ cherry sunburst smashin’ pumpkin: how do you know, I’m not gonna wear pink at home?!?!? HAHAHAA. Did you know dass cherry sunburst ne kirschsorte ist (wiki weeß allet!) und ich hab ja starken verdacht auf o+o’s lecka glaskirschen-baum… der looked jenauso aus wie dit klampfchen!
ich will glaskirschen!!! oder n roten apfel… SOFOOOORT!
