Friday Night Service – Freitagabend GoDi

Ich möchte mal ein paar abendliche „nach-der-Gemeinde-Erkenntnisse“ teilen, die während des Gottesdienstes @ RPMI inspiriert und mit ein paar nachträglichen Offenbarungen gemischt sind. Vorher jedoch möchte ich, dass du dir mal die Beschwerden oder Schreie bewusst machst, die du in letzter Zeit im Gebet zu Gott geschickt hast. Hast du? Ok. Meine Liste ist übrigens ziemlich lang. Nun, heute haben wir über die Größe und die Erkenntnis Gottes gesprochen und folgendes gelesen…

Hiob 38
1 Da antwortete der HERR dem Hiob aus dem Sturm und sprach: [...]
4 „Wo warst du, als ich die Erde gründete?
Teile es mit, wenn du Einsicht kennst!“
[...Gott stellt Fragen über Fragen]
Hiob 40
3 Da antwortete Hiob dem HERRN und sagte:
4 „Siehe, zu gering bin ich! Was kann ich dir erwidern?
Ich lege meine Hand auf meinen Mund.
5 Einmal habe ich geredet, und will nicht mehr meine Stimme erheben—
und zweimal, und ich will es nicht wieder tun.“
Hiob 42
2 „Ich habe erkannt, dass du alles vermagst
und kein Plan für dich unausführbar ist.
[...]
5 Vom Hörensagen hatte ich von dir gehört,
jetzt aber hat mein Auge dich gesehen.
6 Darum verwerfe ich mein Geschwätz
und bereue in Staub und Asche.“

Das hat mir so die Augen geöffnet und mir geasagt: Richte deine Augen nicht auf Umstände. Komm zurück zu einer Haltung oder Gesinnung der Anbetung, welche zu jeder Zeit die Macht und Größe des allmächtigen Gottes anerkennt. Konzentriere dich neu auf einen Lebenstil der Anbetung, der mit Gott rechnet, dem alles möglich ist. Warum Sorgen machen? Ist er nicht mächtig aus allen Schwierigkeiten zu erretten, alle Situationen in Ordnung zu bringen, zu helfen, egal wo Hilfe benötigt wird? Ja, das ist er! Also habe ich entschlossen meine Hand auf meinen Mund zu legen, für meine nörgeligen Gedanken und Worte Buße zu tun und ihn stattdessen lieber anzubeten als den, der er ist: Ein großartiger Helfer, treu und allmächtig. Das ist ein super Weg, den Sieg zu gewinnen – in der Tat, der beste Weg.

Job 38

Job 40
3 Then Job answered the LORD :
4 „I am unworthy—how can I reply to you?
I put my hand over my mouth.
5 I spoke once, but I have no answer—
twice, but I will say no more.“
Job 42
2 „I know that you can do all things;
no plan of yours can be thwarted.

5 My ears had heard of you
but now my eyes have seen you.
6 Therefore I despise myself ["my words/talk" my German bible says]
and repent in dust and ashes.“

That was such an eyeopener for me. Telling me: Don’t fix your eyes on circumstances. Come back to an attitude of worship, that acknowledges the power and greatness of the Almighty God at all times. Refocus on a lifestyle of worship that counts on God, to whom everything is possible. Why worrying? Isn’t he mighty to save from every troubles, to fix every situation, to help whatever kind of help is needed? He is! So I decided to put my hand over my mouth, repent for my complaining thoughts and words and rather worship Him, for who He is, a great helper, faithful and almighty. This is a great way to win the victory – in fact, the best way.
